Buried Alive!

A fracked up dude in Sri Lanka in the town of Kantale had his family bury him at 930am to try to get the worlds record for being buried alive.   At 4pm time was up.   They found the 24 year old dude dead in his box.  
I'd wonder if they give him the record or no?.  He was buried alive for several hours.   Something smells bad.
